My Coaching Style🌿
My coaching style is gentle, reflective, and non-directive.

I use techniques such as reflective listening, mirroring, and repeat-back clarity work to help you hear your own thinking more clearly and uncover your own solutions with confidence.

I am not a counsellor or therapist, and I don’t tell you what to do. Instead, I offer a calm, confidential space where you can explore what’s happening, reconnect with your professional judgement, and decide what comes next in a way that feels right for you.

While much of my experience is rooted in education and supporting those who support others, reflectEDcoaching is open to anyone seeking perspective, clarity, and steadiness.

If you’re someone who carries a lot for others and rarely has space to hear your own thinking clearly, this is exactly the kind of space I created reflectEDcoaching to offer.
Why I do this work 🌿

I’ve spent much of my life supporting others in education -
pupils, colleagues, families, and teams, and I know how easy it is for educators to lose space for themselves along the way.
Schools move quickly.
Expectations shift constantly.
Responsibility rarely pauses.

I created reflectEDcoaching because I believe those who spend their lives supporting others deserve a calm, confidential place to think, reflect, and reconnect with their own direction.

​
I’m Donna, the founder of reflectEDcoaching. I bring more than three decades of experience across education, leadership, inclusion, staff development, and people-focused roles.
​
Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with educators, leaders, and support staff navigating the realities of school life, the constant shifting of expectations, emotional responsibility, complex decisions, and the pressure to continually do more.
​
Across all of these roles, one thing has remained constant:
people often need space to think more than they need advice.
​
I’ve spent years helping colleagues, teams, and individuals untangle their thinking, steady themselves in challenging moments, and reconnect with their confidence and direction.
reflectEDcoaching grew naturally from those thousands of reflective conversations.
​
Although the online business itself is new, the work behind it has been part of my life for many years, helping people hear their own thinking clearly and move forward with calm, grounded confidence.
​
I bring emotional intelligence, strong communication, and genuine understanding to our work together, helping you move forward in a way that feels steady, sustainable, and true to you.
​
Alongside my school-based work, I’ve contributed to wider educational development, including national improvement activity linked to curriculum design, leadership development, and support for children, young people, families, and colleagues.
These experiences strengthened my belief in reflective practice, calm communication, and the power of giving people structured space to think.​​
